Service Manager (Automotive / Fixed Operations)
We’re hiring a Service Manager to lead our service department in Salt Lake City driving performance, improving consistency, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

What You’ll Do
Service Department Leadership
· Lead daily operations of the service department, including workflow, scheduling, and quality control
· Manage, coach, and develop Service Technicians and service staff
· Ensure timely, high-quality vehicle service, repairs, and installations
Performance & Operations
· Drive performance across key metrics:
o Service revenue and profitability
o Technician productivity and utilization
o Turnaround time and workflow efficiency
o Customer satisfaction and retention
· Maintain accountability for department KPIs and operational results
Administrative & Systems Management
· Oversee all service-related administrative functions:
o Work orders, billing, and documentation
o Inventory and parts coordination
o Scheduling and workflow management
· Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance across all service records

Systems & Technology Requirements (Key for Success)
We are looking for a Service Manager who is highly comfortable working in systems and using data to drive decisions.
· Experience working in a Dealer Management System (DMS) required (examples: DealerTeam, , Reynolds and Reynolds, CDK Global, etc.)
· DealerTeam experience strongly preferred.
· Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and service-related software
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
· Ability to:
o Track and manage technician schedules and work orders digitally
o Use reporting tools to monitor KPIs and performance
o Maintain accurate data entry across service and inventory systems
Success in this role requires strong computer literacy, attention to detail, and disciplined system usage.

What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
· 3+ years of automotive or dealership service experience
· 2+ years of leadership experience managing technicians or service teams
· Strong customer service and communication skills
· Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
· High level of organization and accountability
· Strong computer literacy and systems experience, including DMS usage
· Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience as a Service Manager, Shop Manager, or Fixed Operations leader
· Experience with DealerTeam, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar DMS platforms
· Demonstrated success improving technician productivity and shop performance
· Experience managing service KPIs and operational reporting
· Mobility or adaptive vehicle experience (a plus)
