Bank Administrator  

Summary: 

The Cherwell hospital is located in Banbury, Oxfordshire - a day case/Inpatient facility that provides high quality healthcare for patients with health insurance, patients who are self-funding treatment or NHS patients exercising choice through the e-referral system. By investing in the latest advanced medical technology, we offer a wide range of treatments and services. The Role 

We currently have a great opportunity for a Bank Administrator to join our team at The Cherwell Hospital. You will be an integral part of the team who are committed to delivering the highest quality outcomes in a supported environment where you will be valued for your skills and expertise. This is a busy role liaising with patients, consultants and all hospital departments. We need an individual with a professional approach, excellent verbal communication skills, initiative and the ability to work within a team.  

High-level duties include:  

  • Handle all patient enquires promptly and efficiently for a variety of clinical departments 

  • Provide detailed information to patient enquiries delivering excellent customer service 

  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with all internal departments across both Hospitals 

  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with consultants and their secretaries 

  • Supporting patients with their enquiries 

  • Communication via phones and emails 

 
What you’ll bring with you 

  • Proven track record of achieving targets whilst maintaining an outstanding level of customer service 

  • An excellent standard of computer literacy to include experience in Word & Excel 

  • The ability to work under pressure whilst remaining patient/ consumer focused 

  • Experience working in a private healthcare setting is preferred 

  • Good attention to detail and accuracy 

  • The ability to make decisions and use your initiative 

  • A flexible and positive attitude

What is a Bank Contract: 

A Bank contract at Ramsay Health Care UK is a flexible employment agreement where you are not committed to a set number of hours per week. Instead, you work on an ad-hoc basis, filling in shifts that we have available in our hospitals. A Bank contract is ideal for individuals seeking flexibility, as it allows you to choose shifts that fit your availability, leaving you with a greater work-life balance. Bank contracts are also a fantastic way to secure additional income alongside other contracted work. Our Bank staff play a crucial role in maintaining service levels during peak times or staff shortages, ensuring that patient care remains uninterrupted.
