Location: Salt Lake City, UT (On-Site)
Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week
Own the availability, readiness, and movement of Palladyne AI equipment. As a Technical Equipment Coordinator, you’ll ensure hardware is provisioned, tracked, staged, shipped, recovered, and purchased in time to support sales, demonstrations, engineering, and customer deployments. This is a hands-on technical operations role that combines equipment coordination, basic IT and hardware work, logistics, purchasing, and forward planning.
Palladyne AI is a U.S.-based defense and industrial technology company that delivers embodied AI-powered collaborative autonomy solutions, advanced avionics, precision-manufactured components, UAVs, and advanced aerospace design services.
What You’ll Do
- Track technical equipment for the Palladyne IQ product, which is an embodied AI software platform that enables robotic systems to perceive changing conditions, make decisions, and adapt their actions in real time.
- Coordinate equipment across sites and manage assignments, shipping, returns, repairs, storage, and inventory audits.
- Provision computers, assemble deployment and demo kits, and verify standard configurations.
- Consolidate equipment requests, forecast upcoming needs, and identify shortages.
- Order equipment, manage vendors and delivery schedules, and report equipment readiness and risks.

Requirements
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- General IT and computer hardware aptitude.
- Basic knowledge of Linux and networking.
- Ability to follow established technical procedures and standard configurations.
- Experience with logistics coordination, including equipment movement, shipping, returns, storage, or inventory.
- Experience with purchasing and vendor coordination.
- Strong planning and cross-functional communication skills.
- Robotics experience is helpful but not required.
Location & Work Setting
This position is on-site in Salt Lake City, Utah and is expected to work approximately 20 hours per week. Hours may be flexible.

This is a part-time position and is not eligible for Palladyne AI’s standard full-time benefits package. If the position transitions to full-time employment, the employee will become eligible for benefits available to similarly situated full-time employees, subject to the terms of the applicable benefit plans, company policies, and applicable law.

This position requires the ability to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship. Depending on the nature of the work, the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance may be required.
