The Opportunity:
We are seeking expressions of interest applications from experienced Commercial Specialist professionals to support complex Defence programs and projects. In these opportunities, you will play a key role in managing contracts through the post-execution lifecycle, ensuring contractual obligations are met while supporting governance, risk management, and commercial outcomes.
Working within a collaborative project environment, you will contribute to the development and implementation of contract management plans and processes, monitor contract performance and deliverables, and support the identification and mitigation of commercial risks and issues.
You will also prepare key reporting and governance documentation, maintain contract management systems and tools, and ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with Defence standards, policies, and procedures.
These roles offer the chance to work on high-profile Defence initiatives, engage with a broad range of stakeholders, and make a meaningful contribution to project success while further developing your commercial and contract management expertise.
As the ideal candidate you will bring:
- Experience in commercial, contract management, procurement, project support, or Defence governance environments.
- Knowledge of contract management principles and Defence governance frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with CASG procurement processes and contract administration.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management capabilities.
- Experience preparing reports, briefs, and governance documentation.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- The ability to work effectively within established frameworks, policies, and procedures.
All candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active NV1 Defence Security Clearance. Only candidates holding a Baseline Clearance or above should apply.
