As a Customer Insights Manager, you’ll play a key role in selling retail prepared products and increasing market share by optimizing merchandising plans and executing impactful promotions. Your efforts will help shape our market presence and drive business success. You’ll maintain strong engagement across an assigned customer base and/or geography, which will include travel to Midwest locations for customer meetings and food shows. This role offers opportunities to develop leadership skills, advance within the company, and work closely with a collaborative and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive sales of retail prepared products to two assigned customers in the Midwest.
Optimize merchandising plans and execute actions to amplify promotions with customers.
Maintain regular engagement with customers through travel, meetings, and food shows.
Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Customer Strategy and Execution, Sales, and Business Units, as well as externally with Brokers on category insights.
Meet Annual Operating Plan (AOP) sales and profitability targets.
Manage trade fund budgets and provide weekly and annual sales forecasts.
Present and secure innovation with customers.
Provide weekly communication to leadership on customer outcomes.
Support retail execution of sales plans.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Experience: Minimum 4 years of sales experience; CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) sales experience preferred.
Computer Skills: Basic computer proficiency required.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Special Skills: Project management and/or strategic planning experience required.
Travel: 6–12+ trips per year to Midwest locations for customer meetings and food shows.
