About the Program:
- Accredited Training: Our program is accredited through American Allied Health, ensuring you receive a high-quality education.
- Comprehensive Training: Receive hands-on training from experienced healthcare professionals, covering essential skills and knowledge required to become a successful RMA.
- Paid Experience: Gain valuable work experience while earning a competitive salary during your training.
- Certification Support: We'll assist you in preparing for and obtaining your RMA certification.
- Career Advancement: Upon completion of the program, you'll be eligible for full-time or part-time employment within our network of clinics.
- Program Length: The program length varies from 3-6 weeks depending on your prior clinical experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians and nurses with patient care, examinations, and procedures.
- Prepare patients for treatments and surgeries.
- Maintain accurate medical records.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Current Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential preferred, including certification through an approved organization such as AAMA, AMT, NHA, NCCT, or AMCA.
- Candidates without a current RMA/CMA credential may be considered for a Medical Assistant Trainee opportunity, depending on department needs and eligibility.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism.

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
