Team and Role Overview
This position is part of BlackRock's Product Governance & Reporting (PGR) function, which is responsible for all aspects of clients' periodic, regulatory, and sustainability reporting across BlackRock's global fund range.
In this role, you will:
- Own the timely delivery of fund reports.
- Understand and improve controls that ensure data accuracy for investors and regulators.
- Deploy tactical and strategic technology solutions to support reporting processes.
- Develop expertise across multiple reporting frameworks to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support regulatory and sustainability-related data and reporting initiatives.
- Perform analytical and quantitative reviews of regulatory filings to ensure compliance with financial and sustainability regulations and internal policies.
- Investigate reporting proposals and assess their impact on BlackRock and its investment funds.
- Present findings and results from reporting cycles to audit committees and boards of directors.
- Analyze and improve reporting applications and related operational workflows, including the implementation of new workflow tools.
- Leverage business intelligence and big data analysis to identify reporting trends and optimize processes.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, fund administration, reporting, or data analytics.
- Strong understanding of accounting standards such as US GAAP and IFRS.
- Exposure to sustainability reporting regulations such as: SFDR, SDR, TCFD
- Exposure to EU regulatory reporting frameworks such as: AIFMD Annex IV, EU MMFR
- Experience applying computer programming techniques for data analysis.
- Understanding of relational database concepts, including SQL.
- Strong Excel skills, particularly in handling large datasets and producing insightful analyses.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to identify errors, investigate issues, and implement corrections.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to clearly communicate financial analysis results and key issues to leadership.
- Process improvement mindset with a focus on efficiency and innovation.
- Self-motivated with strong drive, determination, and execution capabilities.
- Accountability and ownership of outcomes.
- Strong organizational skills with a structured approach to project management.

Our hybrid work model
