Job Overview
This position will find, define, and provide detailed, engineered, solutions with the goal of improving our key metrics of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Production.
Highlights of your role
- Function as a team player: humble, eager to work, understand other people
- Understand the effects of the equipment, and processes, in your designated production area on the Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Production metrics
- Ability to communicate (oral and written) well with a wide variety of folks: production associates, supervisors, maintenance, engineers, managers,
- Be able to find, define, and recommend projects to help production further metrics in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Production
- Leverage technical skill sets to provide justification and solutions to situations:
- CAD abilities, Cost Justifications, Project/Work Planning, Root Cause Documentation, Writing Standard Work Procedures, fine attention to detail
You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)
- High school education with 1-3 years applicable trades experience
- Computer skills preferred: CAD, Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word
- General mechanical knowledge
- A knack for understanding processes
