Job Overview:
The Sourcer will partner closely with recruiters to build effective sourcing approaches by identifying the availability of talent across assigned talent segments. The Sourcer will use the most effective candidate identification and attraction strategies to source the best candidates in the market and build a talent pipeline for the growing needs of the business. The Sourcer will also provide accurate market mapping information; including identifying the top performing employees at talent competitors in anticipation of future talent needs and researching industry trends.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Follow a funnel-based approach to develop a pipeline across multiple roles applying a metric driven scorecard to measure success.
- Build and keep engaged a network of potential candidates through proactive market research, lead generation, content marketing, brand-building conversations, and ongoing relationship management using a CRM tool.
- Apply a metrics-driven scorecard to improve attraction (prospect-to-applicant ratio) and selection (interview-to-offer ratio) over time, demonstrating ability to anticipate hiring manager requirements.
- Profile competitors and build organization charts.
- Recommend ideas and implement any new processes and fine-tuning standard processes for recruiting.
- Participate in special recruiting initiatives including recruitment events.
- Identify qualified candidate slate within an appropriate and consistent timeline.
- Build and utilize a variety of sourcing plans and tools for specific positions.
- Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects, and client relationships.
- Collaborate with recruitment team on the creation of recruitment plans and recruitment marketing for assigned job families.
- Presenting various forms of market information to recruiters/managers.
- All other duties as needed or assigned.
Qualifications (Minimum Required):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent applicable experience.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal – articulate, well-spoken, and confident telephone manner.
- Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize workload.
- Excellent IT skills and exposure to recruitment software.
- Ability to demonstrate a successful track record in sourcing internationally at nonmanagement levels.
- Resourceful, proactive, and creative approach to work.
- Tenacity and determination to succeed.
- Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements.
Experience (Minimum Required):
- 2+ years of recruiting experience, with major and strong emphasis on sourcing, networking, and building talent pipeline across software product-based technologies and skill sets.
- Experience identifying prospective talent in anticipation of future talent needs.
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System.
- Excellent research/sourcing skills, including use of Boolean, LinkedIn, and alternative search techniques.
- Experience using a metric driven approach to developing, tracking, and running pipelines.
- Experience using effective channels and messages to find targeted sources of high-quality candidates, including passive candidates.
- Knowledge of labor market(s) to source candidates.
- Experience of pipeline generation and qualification, employing varied techniques (both virtual and not), demonstrating creative, resourceful, and committed approach.
- Experience in sourcing from social media platforms (professional and social).
- Excellent phone presence and ability to qualify very senior talent.
- Experience juggling multiple searches and customer relationships.
