Estia Health Wattle Glen is a welcoming home offers a warm country-living environment, surrounded by bushland and in a quiet but convenient position between Wattle Glen and Hurstbridge stations, close to shops and hospitals. Wattle Glen is a quiet, leafy semi-rural suburb in Melbourne's north-east, located close to Diamond Creek.
About the Role
Estia Health Wattle Glen has exciting opportunities for experienced Personal Care Workers/PCA's to join our team as Personal Care Attendant - Nutrition on a Casual basis, working a range of morning and afternoon shifts.
The way that we provide nutrition and hydration in our homes is evolving to align with our Resident Person-Centred Care Framework. We are moving to a more traditional restaurant model that has ‘front of house’ and ‘back of house’ team members.
In this role, you will help residents with their meals and drinks, following Estia Health’s personalised meal service guidelines.
You will also:
- Lend a hand with daily life – making sure our residents feel heard, are comfortable and well-fed.
- Work with our team to assist those residents who require additional support and care.
- Help our residents to enjoy meaningful and engaging activities.
- Be a supportive friend to our residents.
- Make sure every resident’s privacy and dignity is respected.
You’ll be a true team player and great communicator, with a real desire to make a difference in people’s lives and you will have a Cert lll or IV in Aged Care
