DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role
As a Global Compensation Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the design, implementation and continuous improvement of Exclusive Networks' global compensation programs. You will act as the Company's compensation subject matter expert, ensuring that our compensation practices remain competitive, equitable, data-driven and aligned with our business objectives.
You will work closely with the Global Senior Director, Compensation & Benefits and the Global Compensation & Benefits Senior Manager, and partner with HR, Finance, Legal and business leaders across the organization. Reporting directly to the Global Senior Director, Compensation & Benefits, you will contribute to the delivery of the Group's Total Rewards strategy through compensation expertise, market intelligence, analytics and operational excellence.
As the Global Compensation Manager you will:
Internally
- Contribute to global compensation projects and initiatives
- Act as the key contributor for Workday Compensation (Core & Advanced Compensation), driving continuous process improvements, data quality, reporting enhancements, and system optimization in partnership with HRIS, IT, and external vendors
- Support the design, development, enhancement and implementation of global compensation programs and policies by:
- Maintaining and governing the global job architecture, grading and leveling framework.
- Ensuring internal equity and consistency across functions, countries and business units.
- Developing, maintaining and updating salary ranges across all affiliates.
- Conducting job evaluations and market pricing analyses.
- Driving the Annual Compensation Review process, from budget planning and system preparation through manager guidance and post-cycle analysis.
- Partner with the Global Compensation & Benefits Senior Manager on EU Pay Transparency and Pay Equity initiatives by:
- Supporting readiness and compliance efforts related to the EU Pay Transparency Directive.
- Conducting pay equity analyses and identifying compensation disparities.
- Preparing dashboards, insights and executive reporting.
- Partnering with HR, Legal and business stakeholders to ensure compliance and transparency.
- Support continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing compensation processes, governance and employee experience.
- Lead compensation audits and data quality reviews, ensuring compliance with policies and governance standards.
- Partner with Legal, HR and Finance teams on CSRD and ESG reporting requirements, providing compensation and workforce analytics while ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance.
- Support international mobility processes by providing guidance on compensation-related aspects of employee transfers and assignments.
- Develop compensation tools, guidelines and resources to support HR teams and managers.
- Act as a compensation subject matter expert, providing recommendations and guidance on compensation matters.
- Deliver training sessions to HR teams and managers on compensation programs, policies and practices.
- Leverage analytics and reporting tools to assess the effectiveness of compensation programs and identify opportunities for improvement.
Externally
- Coordinate compensation-related projects with external consulting firms, survey providers and other reward partners.
- Lead participation in compensation surveys, including job matching exercises and survey governance.
- Analyze market compensation data, salary surveys and industry benchmarks to develop recommendations on salary structures, pay ranges and compensation programs.
- Monitor compensation trends, regulatory developments and market best practices, proactively recommending enhancements to maintain competitiveness and compliance
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you
The ideal Global Compensation Manager:
- 7 years’ experience in Compensation & Benefits (in an international compensation / controlling environment ; experience in consulting company would be a plus)
- Knowledge of global compensation
- Knowledge of job evaluation and job analysis systems
- Project management skills
- Good analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
- Experience with advanced Excel functionality, Power Point and HRIS tools
- Detail-oriented with high degree of accuracy when working with data and reports
- Strong written and verbal communication skills both in English and French
- Practicality and effectiveness in your daily work, prioritizing key tasks and meeting tight deadlines
- Must be organized and responsive
- Ability to help in preparing training materials and process documentation
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
