About the role
Senior Finance Manager – Retail Transformation
Are you a strategic finance leader looking to play a key role in one of AGL's most significant transformation programs?
As the Senior Finance Manager - Retail Transformation, you'll partner closely with senior stakeholders to provide commercial insight, integrated planning and financial leadership that supports the successful delivery of Customer Markets transformation outcomes.
This is a unique opportunity to shape strategic decision-making by stewarding the Retail Transformation business case, tracking program costs and benefits, and providing the financial narrative that underpins Board, Executive and governance discussions. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring investment decisions are backed by robust analysis, clear financial reporting and strong commercial outcomes.
In this role you will be accountable for
Lead the financial governance, commercial partnering, planning and forecasting activities that underpin Retail Transformation delivery, ensuring strong cost control, funding stewardship and appropriate accounting governance.
Own and steward the Retail Transformation business case, tracking program costs, benefits, key assumptions and value realisation.
Provide clear commercial insight and recommendations to support investment, funding, scope, sequencing and prioritisation decisions.
Shape the financial narrative and reporting for Board, Executive, Investment and program governance forums, clearly communicating performance, risks, opportunities and decisions required
Where priorities and capacity allow, provide senior commercial finance support to other Customer Markets transformation initiatives and business cases.
Who We're Looking For
Extensive experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance or transformation-focused roles, driving commercial outcomes in complex environments.
Proven ability to partner with and influence senior stakeholders, with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong experience supporting major transformation programs, including business cases, investment governance, benefits tracking and Executive/Board reporting.
Demonstrated ability to balance commercial partnering, financial discipline, cost governance and value realisation.
Experienced people leader with a track record of developing talent, leading cross-functional teams and driving organisational change.
CA/CPA qualified (preferred) with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to navigate ambiguity, competing priorities and deadlines.
