As part of continued investment in innovation and product development, we are seeking an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join our growing Research & Development team.Reporting to the R&D Director / R&D Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in the design and development of new electronic products whilst driving continuous improvement across existing products. You will be responsible for taking products from concept through to production release, ensuring that designs meet customer requirements, quality standards, manufacturing constraints and commercial objectives. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working across the full product lifecycle. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, sales, marketing and group R&D functions to introduce innovative technologies and maintain the brands technical leadership within the market. The role offers involvement in cutting-edge product development, technology evaluation, product compliance, and continuous improvement activities. You will also be responsible for ensuring products comply with current and emerging industry standards, supporting patent and intellectual property activities, creating Bills of Materials and work instructions for new product introductions, and providing technical support following product launch. In addition, you may supervise project team members and contribute to training and knowledge sharing across the organisation. We are looking to speak with ambitious Electronics Engineers who have a strong foundation in analogue and electronic design and who are passionate about developing innovative products that meet real customer needs.
