The Industrial Electrician is responsible for the execution of electrical maintenance in the factory to deliver our targets of reliability, cost and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to)
•    Interface with operators, utilities technicians, and process teams to understand system performance and communicate improvements that need to be implemented or have been completed.
•    Install, maintain, and repair electrical and automation systems related to utilities such as chillers, pumps, fans, heat exchangers, cooling towers, compressors, boilers, and water treatment equipment.
•    Read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, and control diagrams for utilities and facility systems.
•    Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on control panels, drives, sensors, actuators, and power supply systems within utilities operations.
•    Inspect and maintain distribution boards, transformers, MCCs, and circuit protection devices ensuring reliability and compliance with electrical standards.
•    Troubleshoot process electrical and control issues using appropriate testing and diagnostic devices (multimeter, clamp meter, insulation tester, etc.).
•    Repair or replace defective electrical wiring, instruments, or control devices in utilities systems to ensure uninterrupted operation.
•    Contribute to maintenance program optimization through data analysis, reliability feedback, and improvement proposals.
•    Train and support other technicians in electrical maintenance methods, LoTo procedures, and safe work practices within utilities systems.
•    Evaluate and define spare parts requirements for utilities electrical components, ensuring availability and traceability.
•    Together with the Utilities and Facility team, be a key player in developing and maintaining a safe, compliant, and energy-efficient work environment.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience
•    Three years electrical gymnasium with focus on industrial automation or similar.
•    Fluency in English
•    Elementary computer literacy (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
•    Previous experience in maintenance or production, minimum 2 years.
•    Valuable (but not required) if fluency in other languages, including Swedish
 

Specific skills
•    Good technical knowledge about mechanical, automation, hydraulic and pneumatic.
•    Proven skills in working with continuous improvements in industrial environment.
•    Hot work certificate
