The State Bar of Arizona is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused MCLE Administrator to manage all aspects of Arizona's Mandatory Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) compliance program. This role is responsible for overseeing compliance audits, processing hardship waivers, reinstatements, and status changes, coordinating annual MCLE affidavit processes and system enhancements, maintaining compliance-related webpages, and providing guidance and support to members regarding MCLE requirements. The successful candidate will possess strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills, demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, and thrive in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities. This position offers an opportunity to play a key role in supporting the legal profession while ensuring adherence to Arizona Supreme Court rules and the State Bar's strategic goals.

Job Summary
Under minimal supervision, manages all aspects of Arizona’s mandatory continuing legal education compliance for members. Ensures compliance with State Bar strategic plan and goals.
The duties and responsibilities listed below are essential to the employee’s position.
- Ensures department operates in full compliance with Court Rules and the MCLE Regulations and is aligned with State Bar strategic plan and goals as applicable
- Coordinates with IT on all matters related to preparation of annual MCLE affidavit, any updates or enhancements needed for HUB and Affidavit Management Tool
- Processes MCLE Hardship Waiver Requests, submits to CEO/Executive Director for action
- Maintains webpages related to MCLE and Compliance
- Prepares correspondence, including drafting and formatting emails, letters, memos, forms, policies and procedures, reports, spreadsheets, etc. Provides accurate information and guidance in response to written, email and telephonic inquiries from members relating to MCLE and related issues. Forwards inquiries to others as appropriate to assist members.
- Plans and coordinates compliance reminders and notifications for members with Marketing and Communications. May work with Marketing Manager as needed for informational campaigns.
- Manages all aspects of MCLE Compliance Audits.
- Timely and accurately processes reinstatements for members administratively suspended for non-compliance.
- Timely and accurately processes Status Changes for members returning to Active status from Inactive or Retired Status.
- Works independently and within a team on special and nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
- Creates and maintains electronic and paper filing and follow-up systems.
- May have budget-related responsibilities, including maintenance of department supplies and equipment, and review of financials.
- Serves as staff to working groups or task forces as assigned. Is cross trained within department to assist as needed.
- Responsible for collecting and collating metrics to evaluate efforts, measure success, alignment with strategic plan, goals and related activities.
- Performs all other related duties, as assigned. May be requested to assist with special projects from time to time.
Requirements
Requires a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Some college or vocational training preferred. Minimum three (3) years in a responsible administrative position. Previous legal or professional association experience preferred.

Computer Skills
Microsoft windows environment with Office Suite to include formatting and production of word processing documents, spreadsheets, presentations and reports. Ability to use tools for video conferencing, as needed. Proficiency in Adobe Pro helpful.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Required: Position may require travel within the metropolitan area; thus, reliable transportation is required. If using personal vehicle, must have appropriate driver’s license and insurance coverage.

Regular attendance is required. Overtime may be required to fulfill duties of position. At times, individual must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with ability to handle and prioritize multiple, competing tasks and demands and to seek supervisory assistance as appropriate.
