Production Supervisor

Position Summary
This position is responsible for providing day-to-day leadership and supervision to achieve productivity goals, schedule attainment, quality objectives, and Employee Health & Safety programs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience monitoring housekeeping activities through the 5S methodology (5 pillars) and addressing safety concerns.
• Knowledge of compliance with environmental, productivity, quality, health, and safety standards.
• Experience developing and following up on continuous improvement projects.
• Strong people management skills, with the ability to enforce policies, procedures, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Previous experience preparing and maintaining production reports and records, taking corrective action as needed.
• Ability to coordinate departmental maintenance and engineering requirements.
• Experience with inventory analysis and control.
• Ability to order and purchase equipment or materials required for production and assembly operations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or another technical engineering discipline preferred, or 3 to 5 years of production supervision experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing or industry experience.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
• Proven ability to drive process improvements within a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple operations simultaneously.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.

Position Overview

• Coach, support, and develop employees within the assigned area of responsibility.
• Maintain daily communication and coordination with production teams, supervisors, and cross-functional departments.
• Assign and direct work activities according to the production schedule.
• Plan and organize production or assembly line operations to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Monitor housekeeping activities (5S) and address safety concerns.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, productivity, quality, health, and safety standards.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and manage the department budget.
• Enforce company policies and procedures, including disciplinary actions when required.
• Prepare and maintain production reports and records, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Coordinate maintenance and engineering support for the department.
• Perform inventory analysis and monitoring.
• Order and procure equipment or materials required for production and assembly activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
