Description
We are currently hiring Seasonal Valet Attendants to support operations at Westfield Valley Fair during the holiday season. This temporary opportunity is expected to continue through January 10, 2027. We are looking for dependable individuals who enjoy working outdoors, interacting with guests, and contributing to a fast-paced environment.
***Seasonal Valet Attendant (Temporary Through January 10, 2027) ***
Location: Westfield Valley Fair, Santa Clara, CA
Compensation: $20/HR + Tips
Schedule: Part-Time 24-36 HRS a wk. /MUST have flexible availability
Friday-Sunday 1:30pm-10pm. Once Seasonal Surge begins 12/1/26, availability for Monday-Thursday 11am-7:30p, 1:30pm-10pm.
Requirements: Driver's license is required, minimum of 2 years
Position Overview
A LAZ Valet Attendant plays a significant role in the success of the company. They are the first person our clients and customers see upon arrival, and the last person our clients & customers see when they depart. A warm welcome, smiling face, and professional demeanor are of the utmost importance. Do you love driving cars? Meeting new people? Are you energetic and fast on your feet? Well then, we are looking for you. We are hiring Valet Attendants to wow our clientele and guests while parking their cars in a professional and responsible manner.
What You'll Do
- Ability to walk, jog, and stand for most of your shift.
- Can withstand the elements of heat, rain, wind, hail. Help direct traffic to keep the flow of cars organized, all with a smile on your face!
- Welcome guests upon arrival and departure.
- Greet all customers by name, take care of their needs, and develop a rapport with each person driving up to your stand.
- Open and close doors for every customer upon arrival and departure.
- Turn off each car and remove the keys.
- Provide each customer with a valet ticket and provide retrieval process.
- Park and retrieve cars like a pro. This means carefully, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
- Provide a self-reliant attitude when needed. Must be able to work with or without supervision.
- Promote awesome customer relations. Smile, go above and beyond.
- Communicate with the Technicians (standard radio calls) if equipment malfunctions.
- Communicates with office staff to stay updated with garage flow.
- Taking messages for Supervisors/Management and documenting information precisely of guest concerns.
- Monthly Safety Training from the company.
- Special assignments when requested by Parking Supervisors/Management
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous customer service experience required.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Driver's license is required, minimum of 2 years
Physical Requirements
This position is active and requires team members to:
- Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, rain, and wind.
- Frequently bend, squat, stoop, and reach.
- Lift, push, and pull up to 10 pounds.
- Direct traffic using signage and related equipment as needed.
