Inside Sales Representative

Golden Star Technology (GST) is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our team in Cerritos, CA. This role is ideal for a customer-focused sales professional with experience in inside sales, sales support, account management, quoting, order processing, and customer relationship management.

Position Summary

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a key role in supporting customers and driving sales operations. Working closely with Account Managers, customers, vendors, and internal teams, you will help facilitate the quote-to-order process, ensure timely order fulfillment, and deliver a seamless customer experience. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare customer quotes, proposals, pricing requests, and RFQs
• Process purchase orders and support timely order fulfillment
• Follow up on quotes, open orders, and customer inquiries
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, distributors, and internal teams to meet requirements
• Track order status, delivery schedules, backlog reports, and open orders
• Support Account Managers and Field Sales Representatives with sales activities
• Maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and follow-up
• Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and account growth
• Assist with product sourcing, procurement activities, and vendor communications
• Maintain accurate data within ERP, CRM, and sales management systems
• Resolve customer issues while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction

Qualifications & Skills

• 3-5 years of Inside Sales, Sales Support, Account Management, or Customer Service experience
• Experience preparing customer quotes, RFQs, proposals, and processing purchase orders
• Strong customer relationship, negotiation, and account support skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP/CRM systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Self-motivated problem solver with a customer-focused mindset
• Experience in technology sales, IT solutions, distribution, manufacturing, or related B2B environments preferred
• Experience with IT hardware, networking, cloud, cybersecurity, managed services, or AV solutions is a plus
• Military, government, or federal contracting experience is a plus
