Essential Job Duties
Help maintain team standards that align with academic expectations, athletic department goals, and NCAA D II regulations.
Contribute to the development and execution of a successful recruiting strategy to attract high-performing student athletes who align with the mission of Wingate University.
Ensure all aspects of the program are conducted in full compliance with NCAA, NCATA, conference, institution and department rules and procedures.
Attend and actively participate in athletic department and staff meetings, trainings, and planning sessions as requested.
Assist with eligibility tracking, financial aid processes, facility scheduling and meet day operations to ensure program efficiency and compliance.
Maintain effective communication and collaboration with university departments and support staff to support team needs and program growth.
Support fundraising efforts in coordination with the Head Coach to enhance program resources and alumni engagement.
Represent the Acrobatics and Tumbling program at University events, alumni gatherings , and community engagements as directed.
Foster and maintain strong, professional relationships with student-athlete families, alumni, program supporters, and the broader athletics community.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Bachelor's degree required
Working knowledge of NCAA Division II, and NCATA rules and compliance standards.
Ability to effectively support recruiting strategies and outreach
Strong team-building, disciplinary, and ethical leadership skills
Ability to maintain a positive, constructive, and collaborative team culture
