Job Description & Summary

The Opportunity

As a Deals - FS - Financial Due Diligence, Senior Associate, you will provide strategic advice and business diligence services to clients in their mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. You will be responsible for analyzing financial information, focusing on quality of earnings and assets, cash flows, and other key client deal issues. As a Senior Associate, you will focus on building meaningful client connections and learning how to manage and inspire others. You will navigate increasingly complex situations, growing your personal brand and deepening your technical skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality work even when the path forward isn’t clear.

In this role, you will be part of our Deals practice, where you will help clients navigate complex transactions and maximize value in their business deals. You will use a broad range of tools and methodologies to generate new ideas and solve problems, while developing a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is changing. This position offers a unique opportunity to enhance your skills and address development areas, all while upholding professional and technical standards.

Responsibilities

- Analyzing financial information to assess quality of earnings, assets, and cash flows in client transactions
- Providing strategic advice and business diligence services for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures
- Utilizing financial modeling and forecasting techniques to support client decision-making
- Collaborating with clients to identify key deal issues and opportunities for value maximization
- Conducting comprehensive financial statement analysis to inform insights and recommendations
- Applying analytical thinking to evaluate business performance metrics and industry trends
- Managing deal processes and contractual agreements to facilitate successful transactions
- Building meaningful client connections and fostering long-term relationships
- Navigating complex situations and adapting to changing business contexts
- Mentoring junior team members and guiding them in developing their skills and knowledge

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 3 years of experience

What Sets You Apart

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Actuarial Science, Analytics/Data Science, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Economics, Finance, Health Administration/Public Health, Mathematics/Statistics, Risk Management/Insurance
- Demonstrating proficiency in financial statement analysis and modeling
- Utilizing analytical thinking to interpret complex financial data
- Navigating ambiguity in financial due diligence processes
- Building meaningful client relationships in the finance industry
- Developing insights through critical thinking and problem-solving
- Embracing change and adapting to evolving business contexts

Job Posting End Date

The salary range for this position is: $77,000 - $202,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
