JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The College of Engineering, Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering is seeking applicants for part-time job of Undergrad Research Assistant.
Job duties to include:
- Support the design, fabrication, and testing of mechanical fixtures for battery pack assembly and research.
- Assist with CAD design, prototyping, fixture validation, and technical documentation.
- Develop fixture concepts for locating, holding, and securing battery pack components.
- Create 3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering drawings.
- Perform fit checks and evaluate fixture alignment, rigidity, and repeatability.
- Document design iterations, test results, and engineering changes.
Compensation:
The hourly rate for this job is $15.00.
