Job Description:
The Senior Analyst is responsible for leading the consolidated cash flow and capital expenditure reporting processes for a multinational company with approximately $6B in annual revenue and two business segments. This role ensures accurate, timely, and insightful cash flow and capex reporting by partnering closely with segment finance teams, corporate FP&A, accounting, and senior leadership. The analyst supports monthly close, forecasting, annual planning, and strategic analysis related to liquidity, investment, and capital efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation of company-wide cash flow and capex results across two business segments.
Validate segment submissions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with corporate reporting standards.
Prepare consolidated cash flow and capex reporting packages, including variance analyses, trend reviews, and executive-ready commentary.
Lead the cash flow and capex components of forecast and budget cycles, coordinating segment inputs and aligning assumptions.
Maintain and improve consolidation models, reporting templates, and analytical tools used for cash flow and capex tracking.
Partner with segment finance teams to understand drivers of cash generation, investment spending, and deviations from plan.
Support preparation of materials for senior leadership, board meetings, external reporting cycles, and strategic decision-making.
Work closely with accounting to ensure accurate classification and alignment of cash flow items and capital expenditures.
Identify and drive process improvements, system enhancements, and automation opportunities within consolidation and reporting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
5–7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial consolidation in a global organization.
Strong understanding of cash flow structures, capex reporting, and multi‑segment financial consolidation.
Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities; experience with enterprise financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, HFM, or OneStream.
Proven ability to synthesize complex financial information and communicate insights clearly to senior stakeholders.
Strong collaboration skills and ability to manage cross-functional communication.
High attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities, and a mindset for continuous improvement.
