Description
A leading ophthalmology group is seeking a board-certified Glaucoma Specialist or Surgeon to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled ophthalmologist with glaucoma fellowship training who is looking to practice in a supportive, state-of-the-art environment with flexible scheduling and robust support staff.
Position Type: Full-Time or Part-Time (Employed)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical and surgical glaucoma care
- Collaborate with a team of ophthalmologists, optometrists, technicians, scribes, and ambulatory surgical center staff
- Participate in surgical procedures in an AAAHC-certified, on-site ambulatory surgical center
- Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing medical education
Qualifications:
- Board-Certified Ophthalmologist (M.D. or D.O.)
- Completion of a Glaucoma Fellowship
- Eligible for or currently holding an active Massachusetts medical license
Preferred Experience:
- Strong clinical and surgical skills in glaucoma management
- Prior experience as a practicing glaucoma specialist or surgeon is preferred, but newly trained fellows are welcome to apply
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base salary range: $350,000–$400,000, plus a percentage of net collections
- Signing bonus/relocation assistance

Scheduling and Work Environment:
- Monday–Friday, typically 8:00 am–5:30 pm; flexible scheduling available
- Patient volume and daily schedule tailored to the surgeon's preferences and clinical focus
