This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, helping users, and building practical infrastructure knowledge in a supportive regional IT environment.
You will be the key local IT contact for Hong Kong users, providing L1–L2 support across devices, systems, networks, and meeting-room technology. You will also work closely with regional IT teams to resolve more complex issues and support ongoing projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide L1–L2 technical support to Hong Kong office users, both on-site and remotely.
- Set up, maintain and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, video-conferencing equipment and standard business applications.
- Support user access, account administration, software installation and general IT requests.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, Wi-Fi and connectivity issues.
- Assist with LAN, WAN and wireless-network support, including basic router, switch and firewall troubleshooting.
- Log, track and resolve incidents and service requests through the ticketing system.
- Maintain accurate IT asset, hardware and software inventory records.
- Support office IT moves, new-user onboarding, equipment replacement and other local IT projects.
- Work with regional IT teams on escalated incidents, infrastructure changes and improvement initiatives.
- Share clear updates with users and provide simple guidance to help them resolve common issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree Holders in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
- Around 2–4 years of IT support, desktop support, systems support or infrastructure-support experience.
- Familiar with Windows environments, Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365, user devices and common hardware/software troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of networking, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches and VPN connectivity.
- Experience using an IT ticketing system, such as ServiceNow, is an advantage.
- Organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple support requests.
- A positive, practical and service-minded attitude is essential.
- Willingness to learn, ask questions and grow into broader systems and infrastructure responsibilities.
- Good communication skills in Cantonese, English and Mandarin, with the ability to work with both local users and regional colleagues.
