JOB PURPOSE  

The purpose of the Senior Consultant is to support the following critical ECOM activities:​

• Support ECOM’s strategy execution and vision for Customer Lifecycle Management​
• Drive rigorous Domain performance to ensure key metrics are improving​
• Ensure smooth and timely Domain performance to accurate and up to date to enable management decision making​
• Support the on-time and on budget delivery of ECOM initiatives​  

 

JOB RESPONSIBITIES  

• Support of investment planning process (e.g. preparation of investment templates, holding workshops to complete details, reviewing submissions for quality, completeness and accuracy, defining initiative benefits)​
• Develop Business Cases to drive investment funding submissions with comprehensive Desirability, Feasibility and Viability details documented​
• Work across Technology, Digital, Financial Crime and other key Domains to drive delivery performance
• Working with key stakeholders to produce monthly Domain reporting (with management for the ​
• Optimising and automating monthly reporting to ensure accountability for both data and performance​
• Support sub-domains and drive through efficiencies and simplification opportunities​
• Set themes for quarterly Big Room Planning, prepare compelling presentations and set the direction for ECOM Domain Planning to ensure Business Outcomes are met​
• Other ad-hoc requests from the Head of Domain Performance, Transformation & Operations to support strategic priorities of ECOM (e.g. customer elevations, Data & Analytics pipeline management)​
• Support Resource onboarding​
• Workforce reporting, SOW tracking, Benefits tracking​
• Monitor individual & team performance, team engagement, providing performance feedback Including recognition and performance improvement plans.  

  

REQUIREMENTS  

• Minimum 7 to 10 years' experience in process execution, data processing and operational role, highly preferable experience in Banking or Financial Service industry.  
• At least 8 years’ experience in Finance, Project and/or Product Ownership / Business Analysis roles in large complex organisations​
• Strong experience managing, tracking and/or reporting on projects​
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail​
• Ability to work autonomously (whilst checking in on direction)​
• Strong and confident communicator (e.g. to raise concerns or follow-up information)​
• Ability to work across multiple deliverables and an ability to prioritise and balance competing priorities​
• Excellent Excel and data visualisation skills, with an ability to articulate complexity simply and with clarity for senior audiences.​
• Strong operational and business management capabilities​
• Knowledge of different tracking and reporting tools is preferable (e.g. Rally, Clarity, PowerBI)​
• Experience of Business Case development (preferable)​
• Experience tracking and/or reporting on project status and scope (preferable)​
