Mammographer / Radiologic Technologist II (Mammography) - FT/80

Description

The Mammographer will:

• Perform mammographic and diagnostic radiographic procedures. 
• Perform daily check of work area. 
• Provide education for departmental staff. 
• Maintain professionalism and qualities consistent with a radiographer. 
• Demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities for age specific patient populations. 
• Perform diagnostic mammographic procedures. 
• Complete bone density exams. 

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Current Radiologic Technologist license in Vermont in good standing. 
• Current Mammography certification from the American Registration of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT(RT)(MA))
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
• Experience to demonstrate the knowledge base and experience to successfully complete breast procedures. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.).
• Strong organizational skills.
• Self-motivated and functions independently.
• Demonstrates problem-solving and problem-prevention skills. 
• Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills.

Salary Range: The base rate for this position is $36.00 - $45.99 per hour. The hourly range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the position. The rate for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate.
