Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Front Desk Services in Swedesboro, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a retail distribution location, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence while supporting access control, visitor check-in, and security-related communications. You will help maintain an organized front desk environment, respond to inquiries, and report unusual activity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and delivery personnel at a front desk within a retail distribution location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Monitor access to the facility by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining required entry records.
• Receive and direct phone calls, deliveries, and inquiries in a professional manner while communicating relevant information to site personnel.
• Monitor entry areas, alarms, cameras, and other assigned systems, and report unusual activity or security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
