INTERNAL Oracle Technical Consultant (Reporting, Integration, ERP)2

Key Responsibilities

  • Integration & Data Migration:

    • Design, develop, and maintain cloud-to-cloud and cloud-to-on-premise integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).

    • Build scalable interfaces utilizing REST/SOAP APIs, FBDI (File-Based Data Import), and ADFdi templates for inbound/outbound batch and real-time processing.

    • Configure custom ESS (Enterprise Scheduler Service) jobs to automate technical tasks, data loads, and interface processing.

    • Monitor OIC instances, diagnose interface errors, handle payload failures, and maintain technical documentation.

  • Reporting & Analytics:

    • Design and maintain operational reports, layouts, and data models using BI Publisher (BIP), OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence), and FRS (Financial Reporting Studio).

    • Write, optimize, and test complex SQL queries and PL/SQL procedures against Oracle SaaS/PaaS database structures.

    • Develop custom BI Publisher templates (e.g., eText, RTF, XSL-FO) for invoices, purchase orders, payment files, and compliance outputs.

  • Technical Delivery & Support:

    • Translate functional specifications into Low-Level Technical Design (LLD) documents (e.g., RICEFW objects).

    • Assist with quarterly Oracle Cloud release patch analysis, regression testing, and interface validation.

    • Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and resolve ticket escalations adhering to established SLAs.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experience: 4–7+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Technical Consultant, with at least 2 full-lifecycle Oracle Cloud ERP implementations.

Technical Skills:

  • Oracle ERP Modules: Deep technical familiarity with Oracle Cloud ERP (Financials, Procurement, SCM) data models and standard APIs.

  • Integrations Platform: Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), SOA Suite, and web services protocols (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML).

  • Reporting Architecture: Advanced skills in Oracle BI Publisher, OTBI, SQL, and PL/SQL.

  • Data Load Tools: Hands-on usage of FBDI, ADFdi, and Oracle WebCenter Content (UCM) APIs.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with high attention to performance tuning.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with functional teams and external stakeholders.
