About the role

As part of the team in Townsville, you'll take on a varied and hands-on role that combines customer service, warehouse operations and delivery driving. You'll help engineers, project managers and other tradespeople access the products they need to maintain fire safety protection, while supporting the day-to-day operations that keep the branch running smoothly.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the road, with a large portion of the role focused on delivering products to customers throughout the region. When you're back in branch, you'll assist with trade counter sales, customer service, stock handling and general branch operations.

An MR Licence is preferred but not essential. We also welcome applications from candidates who hold a current driver's licence and are interested in obtaining their MR licence with support and development opportunities available.

Your day-to-day

A typical day will involve:

• Making deliveries to customers using a company vehicle
• Loading and unloading products safely and efficiently
• Providing customer service and information about products
• Providing quotes both in person and over the phone
• Undertaking pick packing and stock control activities
• Assisting with receipting and dispatching goods
• Helping keep the branch tidy, organised and safe

We'd love to hear from you if you're someone who:

• Enjoys driving and delivering exceptional customer service
• Has previous experience in delivery driving, warehousing, retail sales or customer service
• Can pick orders, maintain stock accuracy and ensure information provided is accurate
• Can use a computer and is happy to learn new systems
• Holds a clean, valid driver's licence
• Has an MR Licence or is interested in obtaining one and developing their skills
• Is reliable, safety focused and enjoys working as part of a team
• Wants to develop their career locally, within our network or in our head office
