Role Description

• We're looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our team working on the CRM platform — a large-scale enterprise application built on a PHP-based backend with a React/TypeScript micro-frontend monorepo (Turborepo, pnpm, GraphQL/Apollo).
• As we evolve parts of the system towards a microservices architecture, you'll also get the opportunity to contribute to newly built Kotlin-based backend services.

Your key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain features across the existing frontend (React, TypeScript) and backend (PHP) codebase.
• Contribute to GraphQL schema design, resolvers, and Apollo Client/Server integration.
• Build and maintain shared UI components within the monorepo (ui-kit and related packages), following existing architectural patterns.
• Design, build, and maintain new backend microservices in Java/Kotlin, working closely with the tech lead on service boundaries and API contracts.
• Write unit, integration, and E2E tests (Playwright, Cypress) to ensure code quality.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting across the stack.
• Collaborate with the tech lead and team on the.
• Follow established coding standards, CI/CD practices, and deployment workflows.

Your skills and experience

• 4–8 years of professional full-stack software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript, including component design and state management patterns.
• Experience with GraphQL (schema, queries/mutations, Apollo) and/or REST API integration.
• Working knowledge of PHP or willingness/ability to quickly ramp up on an existing PHP codebase.
• Hands-on experience with Kotlin (or strong JVM background — Java/Spring — with willingness to work in Kotlin) for backend service development.
• Familiarity with monorepo tooling (Turborepo, Nx, or similar) and package managers like pnpm.
• Understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL/Oracle) and writing efficient queries.
• Experience with Git-based workflows, code review practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of testing practices (unit, integration, E2E) using tools like Vitest, Jest, or Cypress.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to microservices concepts (API gateways, service-to-service auth, event-driven communication).
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Prior experience in banking, financial services, or other regulated enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with Spring Boot for Kotlin service development.

Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
