Your tasks

Part-time | 24 hours per week (3 days per week) | Fixed-term contract (12 months)

• Deliver an outstanding customer experience while actively driving individual and store sales of the TASCHEN publishing program through excellent product knowledge and customer engagement.
• Proactively approach customers, identify their interests and purchasing potential, and convert store visits into sales.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international clients, collectors, design professionals, and book enthusiasts.
• Develop and maintain a network of high-potential and VIP clients and ensure structured follow-up after store visits and purchases.
• Present and promote TASCHEN publications across art, photography, architecture, design, fashion, travel, and pop culture.
• Identify opportunities to increase average transaction value and develop additional sales through curated product recommendations.
• Support store operations including stock management, merchandising, replenishment, receiving deliveries, and maintaining high visual standards.
• Support customer orders, special requests, database and CRM maintenance, client follow-up, and administrative tasks.
• Support the development of B2B and corporate sales opportunities, including special projects, gifting, hospitality, architecture and design clients.
• Actively support and participate in events, book signings, product launches, private client appointments, and other brand initiatives.

Your profile

• Proven sales experience is essential, ideally gained in art galleries, luxury retail, fashion, editorial, publishing, bookshops, cultural institutions, or other premium customer-facing environments.
• Passionate about art, photography, architecture, design, fashion, culture, and publishing.
• Strong commercial mindset with a demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and convert customer interactions into sales.
• Customer-oriented but highly proactive and sales-driven: comfortable approaching (international) clients, initiating conversations, making recommendations, and closing sales.
• Interest or existing network in Milan's creative, design, architecture, fashion, art, or luxury environment is a strong plus.
• Proactive, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to actively support all aspects of store operations.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluent Italian and English are mandatory any additional languages such as Russian, Spanish, French, German, are a plus.
