Compensation Package
Per Visit: $55 - $60 per completed visit (rate varies by experience)
Paid Drive Time
Mileage Reimbursement: $0.72 per mile
Documentation Bonus: Reward for timely submission of documentation
Position Summary
As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you'll play a vital role in helping patients restore function, improve mobility, reduce pain, and regain independence. Working under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist and according to the physician's prescribed plan of care, you'll provide high-quality in-home therapy services that support successful recovery and long-term wellness.
This is an opportunity to deliver personalized care while enjoying the rewards of seeing your patients progress in a home-based setting.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver hands-on physical therapy treatments designed to relieve pain, restore function, and improve mobility.
Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer activities, and prosthetic training.
Apply physical agents including heat, cold, ultrasound, and massage.
Educate patients on the proper use of assistive devices such as wheelchairs, braces, crutches, and other mobility equipment.
Complete clinical documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Communicate patient progress, concerns, and changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist.
Qualifications
Valid California PTA License
Current CPR Certification
1+ years of PTA experience (home health experience preferred)
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance
