Essencial Responsibilities:
- Define site strategies and lead mobilization activities, including resource planning, infrastructure setup, and training requirements, while ensuring tollgate review compliance;
- Manage project schedules and site documentation (methods, quality plans, commissioning reports), ensuring timely issuance to customers and weekly progress tracking;
- Build and update progress tracking structures, perform detailed financial analysis (budgets, costs, forecasts), and oversee scope changes for site works;
- Prepare Requests for Quotations and Purchase Requests, and manage specialized site vendor packages (e.g., electrical, piping, scaffolding);
- Proactively identify risks and opportunities, coordinate cross-functional communications, and participate in internal and customer-facing meetings;
- Travel to sites (25%) to engage with operations, ensure alignment on execution, and lead the final site demobilization process.
Required Qualifications:
- College or bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or similar;
- Previous experience inproject management organization in Construction or Commissioning with hydroelectric background;
- Field management experience is a plus;
- English Advanced;
- French Advanced;
- Availability to travel within Canada;
- Avaiability to work in person on Taubaté/SP site.
Desired Characteristics:
- Project Management Certification;
- Experience with technical concepts (including hydropower technology, i.e., turbines, generators, mechanical and electrical balance of plant systems, etc.).
