Job Description:
AriensCo, a global leader in outdoor power equipment, has an exciting opportunity for a Shipping/Receiving Clerk at their Kenosha, WI distribution center. This is a great opportunity to join a growing company.
Shift: Monday- Friday 8am-4:30pm
Pay: Starting at $22/hr.
THE DAY TO DAY…
Assists in receiving restocks, returns, cross-docks and finished goods, putting them in designated areas
Follow standard work to maintain accuracy and efficiency according to work standards
Package parts according to instructions, preventing damage
Condense assigned areas using 6S principles
Maintains receiving standards and quality by verifying accuracy by the department
Perform other duties as assigned to meet customer/department needs
THE QUALIFICATIONS…
Ability to perform job duties in a safe manner
Basic computer, reading and math skills
Excellent communication and high attention to details.
Ability to work in a team environment
Forklift experience or willingness to be forklift certified.
THE WORK ENVIRONMENT…
Required to lift 50lbs occasionally, up to 35 lbs. frequently, stand and walk at least 8 hours per day. Frequently twist, reach, bend, push, pull and squat as needed to move materials.
Required to wear safety glasses, safety shoes and other personal protective equipment as required.
Required to work in a hot, cold or humid environment.
