As a Manager, Collaboration, Productivity & Enterprise AI, you will lead a team responsible for the platforms and services that help Starbucks partners connect, collaborate, and work productively around the world. This role oversees enterprise workplace technology platforms, including Microsoft 365, messaging systems, Smartsheet, and emerging enterprise AI capabilities. The Manager will lead global platform operations, support delivery, governance, change management, and continuous improvement while partnering with technology, security, architecture, compliance, business, and outsourced support teams.
As a Manager, Collboration Engineering, you will…
- * Lead a team responsible for enterprise collaboration, productivity, messaging, and workplace technology platforms.
- * Support enterprise AI and collaboration capabilities, including Microsoft 365 Copilot, Power Platform, and enterprise search.
- * Manage support delivery for partners across markets the globe.
- * Drive platform reliability, service health, incident response, escalation management, and operational excellence.
- * Lead enterprise change management for platform updates, new capabilities, adoption efforts, and partner-impacting technology changes.
- * Partner with product, engineering, architecture, security, compliance, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable services.
- * Establish and improve governance, intake, prioritization, and support processes for enterprise AI, collaboration, and productivity initiatives.
- * Define and track service metrics, adoption measures, operational performance, risks, and business outcomes.
- * Coach, develop, and lead a high-performing team with a focus on inclusion, accountability, and continuous improvement.
We’d love to hear from people with:
- 5+ years of experience in IT management, workplace technology, SaaS operations, collaboration platforms, or end-user support environments.
- 3+ years of experience supporting Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace in an enterprise environment. 5+ years of experience supporting SaaS applications.
- Familiarity with Exchange on-premises environments and enterprise messaging support.
- Experience working with managed service providers, or international support partners.
- Strong understanding of enterprise change management, release coordination, stakeholder readiness, communications, and adoption planning.
- Experience partnering across security, compliance, architecture, engineering, infrastructure, product, and support teams.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical topics into clear business impact.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience leading Microsoft 365 administration, engineering, or platform operations teams in a global enterprise.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI, enterprise search, AI agents, or AI-enabled productivity experiences.
- Experience running a citizen development program such as Microsoft Power Platform or other enterprise workflow and application platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Salesforce).
- Familiarity with RAG pipelines, multi-agent systems, enterprise APIs, Azure AI Search, Elastic, or similar technologies.
- Experience building governance, intake, prioritization, or operating models for workplace technology platforms.
- Experience implementing and supporting Microsoft Purview.
- Understanding of responsible AI, data protection, compliance, and enterprise governance practices.

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
