Description
Job Summary: Operational Excellence supervisor role reporting to Ian Francis. You will be expected to manage a multi disciplined technical staff across all production areas in ATMC Fab and provide continuous improvement opportunities for development, PM planning and Execution.
- Supervise their safety in manufacturing environment
- Responsible for employee safety training and compliance to expectations
- Direct and coordinate the development activities for team
- Own execution to all quality and delivery expectations including, but not limited to, product inspections and Equipment PMs
- Provide technical, strategic, and tactical direction for the Supervisors direct reports
- Schedule shift coverage for the area MST and Sustainer
- Own Equipment PM performance metrics on shift
- Own Sustainer Disposition metrics on shift
- Develop training plans and staffing requirements for direct reports
- Drive projects & achieve goals for continuous improvement of SDQCP metrics
- Develop and evaluate personnel to ensure quality work is performed
- Teach, coach and mentor through development of the cultural attributes of Total Quality
- Provide reports to the area Operations Excellence Section Manager
Job Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in a wafer fab manufacturing environment preferred
- BS or equivalent in a related field is preferred but not required.
- Must have demonstrated effective leadership abilities, cohesive team building and sound decision making
- Understanding of business and management principles and practices preferred
- Knowledge of human resource management principles and procedures preferred
- Must be proficient in Excel and other relevant software applications (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Must have good communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively to management, direct reports and support teams
- Must display strong ethics and a desire to win mentality
- Previous leadership/supervision experience is a plus
- Engineering and/or equipment maintenance experience is a plus
