Job Description

Just imagine turning simulation data into better moulded elements across an entire engineering value chain. Then make it real.

About the role

As our Senior CAE Engineer – Advanced Engineering, you'll deliver high-quality Computer Aided Engineering simulations that strengthen element and mould development while helping shape a more data-driven engineering organisation. Working within the CAE Simulation team, you'll combine simulation expertise, data insights, and operational delivery to create clear outcomes that improve quality, consistency, and engineering productivity across the LEGO® value chain.

Required Qualifications

  • Earned a bachelor's degree in engineering, such as mechanical, industrial, materials, or a related discipline, or gained equivalent practical experience
  • Built at least 3 years of experience within a high-performing engineering environment
  • Delivered Computer Aided Engineering simulation work that supported engineering decisions and technical outcomes
  • Applied analytical techniques to interpret data and translate findings into actionable recommendations
  • Solved technical challenges through structured root cause analysis and practical solutions
  • Demonstrated fluent written and spoken English in a professional setting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Applied injection moulding simulation within product, element, or manufacturing development
  • Worked with polymer materials and their engineering applications
  • Supported technical change management initiatives and process adoption

What you'll build

  • Deliver simulation requests with the right quality and agreed timelines
  • Guide stakeholders on simulation capabilities and how they support departmental objectives
  • Improve moulding quality through simulation-driven recommendations and automation opportunities
  • Support the standardisation of simulation processes, documentation, and ways of working
  • Partner with simulation specialists and stakeholders across the value chain on customer-facing solutions
  • Help expand the use of simulation tools across the organisation through capability building
If you've worked in a role where you translated simulation results into engineering decisions and measurable quality improvements, you'll feel at home here. What matters most is your ability to turn complex technical information into clear action and reliable outcomes.

Life on the team

Advanced Engineering brings together simulation and data science to create reliable engineering insights across the LEGO® Group. You'll work with a team of specialists who share expertise openly and collaborate closely across functions. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with different stakeholders, takes ownership of their work, stays organised, and approaches challenges with a practical mindset. You'll thrive by building strong relationships, supporting others' learning, and contributing to shared goals.

What success looks like

Success means consistently delivering trusted simulation results that improve engineering quality and help teams make informed decisions. As the organisation continues to embed simulation and data-driven methods more deeply into everyday workflows, you'll work closely with Advanced Engineering colleagues and partners across the value chain to strengthen capabilities, improve processes, and create lasting impact.

Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis. However, please note we do amend or withdraw our jobs and reserve the right to do so at any time, including prior to any advertised closing date. So, if you're interested in this role we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
