Let’s Talk about the Role
We are looking for a Senior Artificial Intelligence Program Manager to join our central Artificial Intelligence and Innovation team. The role will lead the delivery of strategic Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning programs supporting digital transformation across industrial businesses, acting as a Scrum Master for cross-functional teams and driving initiatives from Proof of Concept through deployment. The role will coordinate global teams and stakeholders, ensure alignment with business objectives and governance requirements, and drive successful delivery, adoption, and measurable business value.
Key responsibilities
Lead the planning and execution of complex Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning programs across multiple teams and geographies.
Own integrated program plans, milestones, dependencies, priorities, risks, and issues throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Act as Global Scrum Master for cross-functional teams, facilitating Agile ceremonies, maintaining healthy backlogs, and driving a strong delivery cadence.
Manage Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning initiatives from Proof of Concept through Minimum Viable Product and implementation, ensuring solutions are practical, scalable, and aligned with business needs.
Partner with data scientists, engineers, architects, business stakeholders, and external providers to drive delivery, adoption, and business value.
Apply Lean principles to reduce waste, improve processes, and increase delivery efficiency.
Ensure programs operate effectively within complex industrial environments, with a strong focus on quality, operational continuity, safety, and structured delivery.
Ensure delivery aligns with NPI / Stage-Gate governance and provide clear, value-focused reporting on progress, risks, dependencies, issues, and key performance indicators.
Act as a trusted coordination point between leadership, business teams, technical teams, and external partners, translating business requirements into actionable delivery plans.
Track delivery performance, adoption, and business impact, maintaining effective RAID management and challenging assumptions where needed.
What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another STEM-related field.
Extensive experience in program management, project management office functions and Scrum Master roles, with strong capabilities in program planning, governance, dependency management, and RAID tracking.
Strong hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and proven ability to drive effective team delivery.
Extensive experience in industrial environments, such as manufacturing, energy, automotive, aerospace, or similar sectors, with a good understanding of NPI / Stage-Gate governance.
Solid understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning programs, including development, integration, deployment, and adoption.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and executive reporting skills, with fluent written and spoken English.
What will make you stand out
Proven application of Lean principles to improve delivery, processes, or operational performance.
Experience working with technical teams, vendors, and business leaders on AI/ML or digital transformation initiatives within multinational industrial organizations.
Familiarity with DevOps, systems engineering, industrial data platforms, and delivery tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and leadership skills, with experience working in multi-vendor environments.
