Trainer

What will your job look like?

The Trainer will prepare Learners to accomplish desired results by developing and delivering training. In addition to engaging Learners, the Trainer will be responsible for the transfer of knowledge or skills.

This position will be onsite at the Norton, VA office.:

798 Park Ave NW, Norton, VA 24273

*Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule as well as be able to travel throughout the State of VA.*

What you’ll do:

• Identify areas of opportunities amongst learners and/or content; take action to correct

• Conduct Training

• Provide ongoing support for learners

• Facilitate and Participate in meetings, town halls or other relevant information sharing events

• Generate a high learning transfer of Knowledge or skills from the trainer to the learner

• Measure learner satisfaction

• Measure learner transfer of knowledge or skills

• May be required to develop training

What you’ll need:

Experience, Education & Certifications:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.

• 2 + years’ experience in customer service

• 1 + year experience in training others

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Skills:

• Ability to explain complex subjects in a clear and interesting way as well as emphasize the importance of content

• Ability to accomplish duties/tasks with little direct supervision

• Ability to prioritize tasks and deadlines

• Ability to coach employees

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot

• Displays professional behavior

• Ability to communicate with all levels of employees as well as external customers

• Ability to build relationships

• Global and Cultural Awareness

• Ability to handle confidential information

• Ability to use basic office equipment

Salary Min: $47,920

Salary Max: $55,000
