As a Fleet Issue Risk Analyst of the HDNU Global Site Issue Management, Fleet Programs team, you will be an active contributor to deliver globally-aligned, standardized, scalable fleet program solutions that improve safety, reliability, and sustainability across the Gas Power fleet.
Job Description
The Fleet Issue Risk Analyst Intern supports the identification, analysis, and tracking of fleet-related technical and operational risks affecting GEV HDNU and In-Service units. This role provides hands-on experience in data analysis, risk assessment, issue tracking, and cross-functional problem-solving and a unique opportunity to deliver valuable business impact through effectively managing and mitigating the GEV fleet risks. The intern will work with cross functionally to help monitor fleet performance, identify trends, and support data-driven actions that reduce risk and improve fleet reliability.
What you’ll do (Job Responsibilities)
- Assist in collecting, organizing and analyzing fleet performance, maintenance, and issue data
- Analyze reliability, maintenance, inspection, and incident data to detect trends and prioritize risks
- Develop risk rankings based on severity, likelihood, exposure, and business impact
- Help develop reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership and internal stakeholders
- Assist in monitoring and documenting corrective and preventive actions and tracking status updates
- Support decision-making for issue containment and long-term corrective actions
- Maintain operational tools and develop automation and integration to simplify and streamline repetitive tasks
What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)
- Basic data analytic knowledge & experience (i.e. Excel, Smartsheet, BI tools, etc)
- Currently enrolled in an school from an accredited university with a specialty in Business, Digital Technology, Analytics, Computer Engineering or similar discipline
- Digital/Automation tool development experience

The pay for this position ranges from $21.00/hr - $34.00/hr based on years of undergraduate/graduate field of study completed.
This position is also eligible for:
Relocation Assistance: Co-op/Interns will be reimbursed for reasonable, proper, and documented expenditures incurred while initially reporting to work and returning to school/home upon completion of the assignment. Employees with a permanent address greater than 50 miles away from the work location are eligible.
Housing Allowance: Co-op/Interns employees receive a weekly housing allowance to help off-set living expenses when the co-op/Intern’s permanent residence is at least 50 miles away from the work location.

GE Retirement Savings Plan (RSP) after their accumulated service reaches 90 days, and they meet any other eligibility requirements as defined in the plans. (Eligibility occurs on the 1st of the month following the 90th day.)
