The role involves assembling, installing, and configuring office furniture at client sites to ensure functional and aesthetic workspace setups. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. What you'll do:
- Assemble and install office furniture according to provided specifications and safety standards
- Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing devices such as Ohmmeters to ensure proper setup and functionality
- Read and interpret technical diagrams, assembly instructions, and floor plans
- Ensure all installations are secure, level, and aligned for optimal use
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding installation progress and any issues encountered
- Maintain a clean work environment during and after installation procedures
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times during installations
Required Experience & Abilities:
- Proven experience in furniture assembly or related installation roles is preferred
- Ability to operate electrical testing devices such as Ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical components
- Strong mechanical aptitude with proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read technical diagrams and assembly instructions
- Physical ability to lift heavy furniture items safely and work in various physical positions (standing, kneeling, climbing ladders)
- Reliable transportation to travel between job sites as needed
- Prior experience with electrical systems or wiring is a plus
