The Role – Assistant Account Handler
Our team at St Giles in Liverpool are looking for an Assistant Account Handler to join their growing team.
What you’ll be doing:
Supporting Account Handlers/Executives with day‑to‑day servicing of a portfolio of clients.
Preparing and processing new business, renewals and mid‑term changes, including obtaining quotations and checking all policy documentation.
Maintaining accurate systems and records (files, computer entries, diaries/tasks), handling routine enquiries and liaising with insurers and other third parties while working to strict timescales.
Committing to continual professional development, expanding product and technical knowledge, and proactively identify, report and help resolve breaches, complaints, E&O issues and QA actions.
What we’re looking for:
Experience within an administrative, customer service or support roles, ideally within insurance, financial or professional services.
Confident handling client queries by phone and email, building good relationships, and working accurately with data and documents.
A diligent individual with a strong work ethic, used to working to deadlines, managing multiple tasks in a busy team, and proficient with Microsoft Office.
Any previous experience within the insurance industry/regulated environment is highly advantageous but not essential for this role.
What You Will Get:
A salary of up to £28,000 depending on experience.
