General Description
The Industrial Engineer will analyze, develop, and improve process instructions, standard operating procedures, and manufacturing support activities. This role enhances operational efficiency and supports long‑term manufacturing excellence through targeted process improvements, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to integrate solutions into production.
Duties
- Implement efficient, effective processes and systems to meet customer expectations and deliver high‑quality, consistent product.
- Conduct analysis of existing processes and apply engineering principles to design, test, and implement new processes and systems.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in engineering and technology to continuously improve processes and systems.
- Train and mentor team members on new processes and systems, ensuring proper understanding and implementation.
- Conduct thorough analysis of existing processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
- Develop and implement efficient and effective processes and systems to improve productivity and streamline operations.
- Utilize engineering principles and techniques to design, test, and implement new processes and systems.
- Analyze manufacturing processes, workflows, and production systems to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, throughput, and cost performance.
- Develop and implement process improvements that support safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
- Collaborate with production, quality, supply chain, and project managers to resolve operational challenges.
- Translate customer requirements into effective manufacturing and operational processes that meet quality and delivery expectations.

Education/Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical or Industrial) with 1-2 years' experience. Experience may be substituted for education
- Experience analyzing manufacturing processes and developing standard operating procedures and process documentation.
- Proficiency applying engineering principles to design, test, and implement process improvements.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams (production, quality, supply chain, project management).
- Ability to train and mentor team members on new processes and systems.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and staying current with industry trends and technologies.
- Ability to grasp modern technology quickly.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.

- May be required to lift up to 25 pounds and carry for short distances.
- Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth.
- Normally works in an office setting with controlled temperature.
