Your Opportunity

Our Edmonton, Calgary or Vancouver office is looking for a 8 month Co-op or Intern to join the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) team from January to August 2027 and own the following responsibilities: 

• Prepare pitch-books and presentation documents in connection with business development initiatives 

• Perform market, industry and company research supporting live engagements 

• Prepare lists of potential buyers and acquisition targets 

• Assist with drafting of marketing documentation (i.e. Confidential Information Memorandums) 

• Assist with various financial analysis as required including financial modelling and comparable company analyses; and 

• Participate in due diligence processes.

Your experience and education 

•  You are enrolled in a post-secondary business program with an emphasis in accounting or finance 
• You have a strong interest in Mergers and Acquisitions 
• You have excellent attention to detail and ability to perform analytical work accurately, often under time pressure 
• You have developed communication skills and a strong ability to collaborate with team members 
• You have a strong aptitude for Microsoft Excel 

• You have the ability to prioritize competing priorities with varying deadlines 

• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced deals environment.
