Role Purpose:
The primary purpose of the Policy Management Analyst is to ensure the accurate and timely issuance of general insurance policies by guaranteeing completeness, consistency, and quality of documentation and information entered the systems.
This role serves as a key liaison among Policy Issuance, Underwriting, and the operational support team, ensuring compliance with established internal standards, timelines, and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Review the proposal inbox daily to collect, organize, and tabulate the documentation required to begin the issuance process.
- Review the completeness, validity, and consistency of received documentation—including proposals, quotations, and technical information—before beginning the issuance process.
- Compare and analyze proposals and quotations, identifying and resolving differences or inconsistencies between documents.
- Maintain ongoing communication with the Underwriting team to obtain missing documentation, clarify discrepancies, and ensure the accurate interpretation of terms and coverages.
- Review and validate the accurate entry of information into the IRIS and SIGO systems, ensuring accuracy and alignment with supporting documentation.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone who is:
- Agile and solutions-oriented, with the ability to respond quickly to irregularities, errors, or operational requirements.
- Highly thorough and detail-oriented, with a focus on carefully reviewing information without overlooking key steps or validations.
- Possesses a strong sense of responsibility and organization, with the ability to prioritize tasks and coordinate work with support teams.
- Demonstrates strong communication skills, particularly when interacting with Underwriting and Operations teams.
- Is committed to collaboration and compliance with quality standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Academic background in Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting, Insurance, or a related field.
- Previous experience in general insurance policy issuance, operations, or policy administration processes is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel at a basic to intermediate level.
- Ability to work with high volumes of information and meet demanding deadlines.
