Commis Chef
Location: Richmond Village, Bridge Meadow Way, NN4 5EB
Salary: From £13.30 per hour
Contract: Full Time 45hrs
Shifts: Various Shifts

Richmond Village Northampton is looking for a talented Commis Chef to join the team.
This is a unique role within a luxury retirement village, offering no late nights or split shifts—giving you great work-life balance while working across the care home & Restaurant
You’ll bring experience from busy, quality kitchens and a passion for delivering high standards across a variety of cuisines.

You’ll help us make health happen by:
Assisting in the preparation and cooking of meals to a high standard
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen
Follow food hygiene and safety regulations at all times
Support the kitchen team during busy service periods
Help with stock rotation and storage
Learn and develop culinary techniques under guidance from senior chefs
Respond to residents and customers dietary needs and personal preferences
Open to new ideas, you’ll have an innovative yet organised approach to cooking, always adhering to high standards and remaining calm during a busy service. You’ll enjoy working with others, working together to create and deliver an excellent dining experience at each meal.
Because we care for vulnerable people, we’ll need you to complete a DBS check as part of the recruitment process. Bupa will cover the cost of this (£40).
