Description

The EDI Systems Manager / Developer will own and evolve our global EDI and enterprise integration ecosystem. This role combines hands on technical leadership with cross functional influence, overseeing the SEEBURGER BIS platform, Oracle EBS integration flows, and Oracle Gateway configurations that support high volume automotive and manufacturing operations. You will serve as a primary technical authority for new EDI integrations, ongoing Oracle Gateway enhancements, and production support across a 24/7 global environment. This role requires deep expertise in EDI, Oracle EBS R12, and SEEBURGER BIS, along with the ability to lead integration modernization initiatives and drive standardization across systems and trading partners. You will provide final approval prior to moving projects to Production, assist with production support and troubleshooting, and assist EDI Program Manager with technical team management.

General Responsibilities
• Advises on the design and development, the batch jobs, solutions and unit tests with a focus on test-driven development
• Ensures the timely delivery of technical solutions while following development best practices to ensure long-term viability and scalability of customizations
• Advises on technical guidance regarding the development of applications to support business and product strategies
• Leads the maintenance of all applications, every release cycle
• Oversees the research, design, and delivering of solutions for multiple business units, while collaborating with analysts and business owners to deliver results in a timely manner
• Review and assess current state to identify and recommend improvement opportunities
• Provide expertise in developing applications, integrations, and automated solutions
• Define, deliver and support functionality and configuration of different platforms

Experience / Qualifications
• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.

Technical Expertise

·         SEEBURGER BIS/BIC

·         Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12

·         Oracle Gateway

·         ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and VDA EDI standards

·         XML and JSON

·         Automotive supply chain and manufacturing business processes

 

Operational Responsibilities

·         Participate in a 24/7 on-call support rotation

·         Manage and support EDI trading partner relationships

·         Troubleshoot and resolve production issues

·         Coordinate with and manage external vendors and service providers

 

Business Process Support - This role provides EDI support across critical business functions, including:

·         Order-to-Cash (O2C)

·         Procure-to-Pay (P2P)

·         Manufacturing Operations

·         Planning and Supply Chain Management
