THE JOB:
 

It is the responsibility of the Shop Clerk to keep and maintain records of all engineering materials and equipment on a database and be responsible for stocking, inventory, and ordering parts/materials and equipment. The Shop Clerk will also be responsible for ensuring all materials and/or equipment used for the specific job assignments are properly assessed. All duties are performed in accordance with department guest service standards and MGM Resorts International policies, practices and procedures.

THE STARTING RATE: 
$23.47 Per Hour
THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Keep records of all materials and equipment within the Engineering Services department warehouse and database

• Order, inventory, and stock all materials and equipment required by Engineering Services department

• Advise Supervisor, Manager, and Director of any shortages of materials essential to the operation of Engineering Services

• Maintain a constant awareness of safety and accident prevention

• Ensure equipment and work areas are kept clean, neat, and orderly

• Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with all departments

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• High School Diploma or GED

• 3+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience (Warehouse experience in a hotel or industrial complex) preferred

• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
