THE POSITION
Victory Live is seeking a highly detail-oriented Event Mapping Specialist to join our team in our Buckhead, Atlanta office. This is a 100% in-office position that requires evening and weekend availability.

The Event Mapping Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining accurate event and venue data across Victory Live’s ticketing marketplace. Responsibilities include creating and updating event records, researching event and venue information, monitoring schedule changes, maintaining seating and venue configurations, and resolving mapping requests and escalations.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and maintain accurate event and venue records within Victory Live’s Mapping platform.
  • Research and validate event details, including dates, times, venues, performers, teams, status, and seating configurations.
  • Monitor sports schedules, concert announcements, on-sales, and event changes to keep Mapping information current.
  • Create and update events following major schedule releases, tour announcements, playoffs, and other high-volume releases.
  • Maintain venue configurations, seating charts, sections, rows, and related ticketing information.
  • Process cancellations, postponements, reschedules, venue changes, and other event updates.
  • Investigate and correct discrepancies between internal Mapping data and external sources.
  • Respond to Mapping requests, support tickets, and escalations, prioritizing time-sensitive and high-impact issues.
  • Perform quality-control reviews to identify duplicate, missing, inaccurate, or incorrectly mapped events.
  • Partner with internal teams and external partners to resolve Mapping issues and obtain necessary event or venue information.
  • Follow established Mapping standards, naming conventions, and operating procedures.
  • Support event and venue mapping across external ticketing and distribution platforms.
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to Mapping processes and workflows.
  • Support special projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain accurate timekeeping and meet company attendance expectations.
 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy.
  • Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to validate information across multiple sources.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to recognize inconsistencies, investigate problems, and determine appropriate solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift based on event schedules and marketplace activity.
  • Ability to learn new systems, processes, and technology quickly.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Ability to regularly work evenings and weekend shifts.
 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working with ticketing platforms, marketplaces, content management systems, event data, or other data-intensive operational systems is preferred.
  • Familiarity with professional and collegiate sports leagues, venues, concerts, tours, and the live-event industry is strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience in ticketing, live entertainment, e-commerce, marketplace operations, data operations, or a related field is a plus.
