In this role, you will lead complex, cross-functional initiatives and special projects across EFS that directly support contract performance—including execution of large scale contractually required programs and critical projects.  You will define scope, build and maintain project plans and schedules, coordinate account team and cross-functional SMEs, and drive on-time delivery across interdependent workstreams.

Effective management of these efforts helps protect contractual performance ratings—a key factor in maintaining Evernorth Federal Services’ ability to fulfill current contracts and compete for future business. Success in this role requires providing counsel and advice to top management, coordinating across organizations, and leading highly complex business needs from initiation through completion.

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL POSSESS OR DEVELOP A DEEP UNDERSTANDING OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • Federal healthcare delivery and how project execution translates into client outcomes and contract performance

  • Cross-functional stakeholder alignment, including coordination between organizations and counsel to senior leadership

  • Contract performance drivers

  • Federal program environments and the contractual, regulatory, and compliance considerations that shape delivery

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish priorities, monitor progress, and drive on-time delivery within business, budget, and contractual constraints

Stakeholder Coordination & Communication

  • Provide counsel and advice to top management on significant project matters, often requiring coordination between organizations

  • Lead cross-functional teams and status meetings to assess progress, resolve issues, and escalate and drive resolution of risks

  • Develop and present high-level and detailed updates, reports, risks, and timelines to internal partners and leadership

  • Act as a liaison across the federal account team and cross-functional partners to execute projects, resolve issues, and report status

Contract Performance & Business Development

  • Support execution of contractually required initiatives that protect TPharm5 performance

  • Contribute to business development opportunities by ensuring critical deliverables are executed on schedule and aligned to client expectations

IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE A COMBINATION OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • 8+ years of experience in project or program management, healthcare, pharmacy, federal programs, or a related field

  • Demonstrated ability leading complex, cross-functional projects from initiation through completion using proven project management processes

  • Experience coordinating account team and cross-functional SMEs, external consultants, and delivery partners

  • Experience providing counsel and advice to top management and driving resolution of complex issues and risks

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level status reporting and presentations

  • Experience with federal contracts, proposals, and/or program management
